Dolores “Cordero” Trujillo

Dolores was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on July 23rd having just celebrated her 75th Birthday.

Known to her loved ones as Nina and Auntie D. Born and raised in Santa Barbara as generations who have gone before her, a graduate of SBHS, making many long time friends along the way. She worked at the phone company on Chapala, as an assembler in Goleta, and at Alpha Thrift on State where she became known for her warm personality, kind heart, and how much she loved to talk. Dolores enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, and selling Tupperware over the years. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Leaving behind three generations of nieces and nephews, the many kids she took care of along the way, and her family at Restoration Church in Goleta. As the Lord carries her home she is embraced by all who gone before. She will be remembered for her big heart, giving spirit, and the many lives she touched along the way.

A service at Restoration Church will be at 11am on October 19, 2026 and the graveside service will be held at Goleta Cemetery at 1pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at Tuckers Grove.

All are invited to come share memories, and remember the beautiful person she was.
