Mary Connie Zazueta

Mary was one of 7 daughters and 2 sons born to Philip and Bernice Zazueta. Born in Los Angeles, Ca, her family lived in Santa Maria, before making Santa Barbara their home in 1955.

Mary began waitressing at Montecito Country Club at 19, then moved to La Cumbre Country Club, where she stayed until retirement. Mary loved the beach, camping, and road trips, she had an adventurous spirit. She was especially proud of her 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren

Mary is survived by her brother, Arthur Zazueta ; Sons, Michael (Cathy) Zazueta and Richard Zazueta ;

Mary was loved by family and friends, and will be deeply missed.

Rosary, Thursday, October 22nd. 7pm at Welch Ryce Haider Funeral Chapel on Sola St. Mass, Friday, October 23rd., 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Reception to follow at Moose Lodge
