Gotham has hooked up with Broadway Books to bring the writing
public the hippest poetry contest of the modern age: Hipster Haiku.
To enter, write a 17-syllable haiku on the topic of society’s
trendiest stereotype, the hipster. Send it to writingclasses.com/ContestPages/haiku.php before June
8. The winner will have his or her haiku published in Hipster
Haiku and receive a 10-week Gotham writing workshop.
