Carpinteria’s Kristin McGuire was named the executive director
of Center Stage Theater last week. McGuire is a successful
businesswoman from a marketing and sales background, with clients
including Boeing and Lockheed Martin, and also has a strong theater
upbringing, having apprenticed at Williamstown Summer Theatre,
worked with Olympia Dukakis, studied theater at San Francisco
State, and gotten her degree in theater arts from San Jose
State.
