The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is looking for
volunteers to help out before and during the January 25-February 4,
2007 event. Positions include staffing for special events, film
screenings, line monitoring, merchandising, publicity, driving, and
just about any job you can imagine at a major film festival. Those
interested must apply via sbfilmfestival.org and attend two
important meetings on December 9 at 11 a.m. at Metro 4 and December
17 at 2 p.m. Though the work is unpaid, there’re plenty of
incentives that keep other volunteers returning year after
year.
