A semi-truck carrying nitrogen-refrigerated liquid jackknifed on southbound Highway 101 just south of the Milpas Street off-ramp at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, shutting down traffic on that side of the highway until the vehicle could be removed. The Santa Barbara Fire Department and Caltrans are on the scene to clean-up the spill. The truck has been moved, and traffic is beginning to pick up again.
