All national forest lands south of Highway 154 and East Camino Cielo that east of Gibraltar Road and west of Refugio Road, are now closed to the public until the Gap Fire is suppressed, Los Padres National Forest officials announced Saturday afternoon, July 5, just before 4 p.m. The closure does not include the roads themselves, nor does it apply to private land.
