Most people are surprised to learn that S.B. has over a dozen different bat species. On Wednesday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m., bat-enthusiast Mary Wenzel gives an intimate look at The Night Shift, the bug catchers who take over after the last bird has roosted. Her free talk includes photos, videos, sounds, and little-known details about these flying mammals. Farrand Hall, S.B. Museum of Natural History (2559 Puesta del Sol Rd.).
