In music-award news, two Santa Barbara players recently picked up honors for their art. Costa Rican-cum-Santa Barbaran Luis Muñoz was named Composer/Musical Author of the Year by Costa Rica’s Association of Musical Authors and Composers, while S.B.’s Melissa Ramsey beat out hundreds in a nationwide songwriting contest.
