Rainbow bubbles, big bubbles, itty bitty bubbles, bubbles within bubbles, and more! BubbleMania is an interactive and fun show floating toward S.B.-area libraries this week—teaching kids about the science and magic of these shiny, iridescent, and pop-able playthings. A trained “Bubblologist” will host hands-on demonstrations and outdoor activities, and finish with a grand finale—where every child gets a chance to be inside a giant bubble! BubbleMania will show twice on Thursday, June 16, starting at 10:30 a.m. at Carpinteria Public Library (5141 Carpinteria Ave., Carpinteria), and 4 p.m. at Montecito Branch Library (1469 E. Valley Rd., Montecito). Admission is free. Call 684-4314 or 969-5063 for more info.
