MULTITALENTED, MULTILINGUAL: Kamilla Plambeck, an avid traveler, has come from Denmark for an internship at The Independent this summer and fall. She’s ethnically South Korean, but was raised in a small Danish town. She has a BA in English language and international studies from Denmark, has taught English in China, has worked for English- and Danish-language newspapers and magazines in Thailand and Denmark, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in journalism. She loves animals, and her dream is to one day live with and care for elephants in Africa.
