The 18th Annual Mental Health Arts Festival returns to De la Guerra Plaza (first block of De la Guerra St. east of State St.) this Saturday, October 1. The event showcases interesting and beautiful paintings, sculptures, poetry readings, and other art by S.B.-area artists with mental health disabilities. Sponsored by the Mental Health Association of S.B. County, proceeds benefit area artists living with mental illness. The festival runs from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Call 884-8440 for more info.
