Thank you for the article “Helping or Hoarding,” regarding the recent controversial misguided Animal Control confiscation of rescue animals from Sandy Coupal’s sanctuary.
It is sad to see taxpayer dollars being wasted on raiding and housing poultry that is being well taken care of as a way to retaliate for a failed attempt against Ms. Coupal and loss of its case by this agency three years ago.
Would it not be more appropriate for this agency to protect animals that are truly being abused [including rodeo animals] – despite such accolades as were given a steer wrestling champion in an article directly opposite under the heading “Entertainment”?
Human ego gets in the way of honest animal protection.
