Dos Pueblos High sophomore Madeleine Centrella recently won the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission’s annual Poetry Out Loud competition. Centrella was one of thousands of students throughout California to participate in the contest. She’ll represent Santa Barbara at the state finals in Sacramento on March 25 and 26.
