In Barney Brantingham’s column “The Lady and the Cop,” the police department’s side was clearly stated but where was mine? The part where I was picked up almost in the middle of the road by a witness after being hit by a car that was over 80 feet away when I stepped into the road. Where was Barney’s report about the driver seeing nothing? I contacted him to write about the injustice of my case, not to perpetuate it. Instead he publishes my photo for all to see as someone who cannot cross the road safely. I am deeply disappointed.
