Regarding the wrong-way driver on the 101: How about installing those depressible sharp-toothed grates they have at parking lots on the freeway offramps so that drunk or confused drivers trying to enter the freeway from an offramp will have their tires blown out? They work in parking lots.
Regarding the Miramar: Have the county condemn the site as an eyesore and health hazard; and give the land back to the Chumash with the stipulation that they build a hotel/casino that pays full occupancy tax to the county and donates 20% of casino profits to local non-profits and schools.
