In case you’ve been living under a rock this week, tomorrow begins the three-day-long (well, technically two-week-long) party in the desert known as Coachella. The annual weekend of music, parties, and scantily clad co-eds in Indio, CA is boasting yet another insane-o lineup, featuring headliners like The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix, The Postal Service, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as a few hundred slightly lesser-known acts. (You can peep the full schedule here.)

As in years past, the fine folks at Goldenvoice will be live streaming bits and pieces of the performance madness via Coachella’s YouTube channel. In addition, The Independent will be venturing south to take in all the fun — and all the sun — that weekend one has to offer.

And remember, if it all looks too good to pass up, there’s always weekend two, which takes place next Friday, April 19-Sunday, April 21. Same time. Same place. Same bands. Slightly fewer surprises.
