958 Homes More Energy Efficient

Yesterday on National Weatherization Day, Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara County (CAC) announced that 958 low-income homes have been made more energy efficient in Santa Barbara County under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP).

Woman Wanted for Five Isla Vista Stabbings

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department has identified Quiana Edwards, a 22-year-old female gang member out of Ventura, as the suspect in an October 7 fight in Isla Vista that left five people with stab wounds.
