Art lovers ages 16 and up, come get inspired by the pollinator plants and winged wonders of Butterflies Alive! at Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Guided by Madi of Loud Flower Art Co, you’ll carve your own unique design into a rubber block. Use water-based inks to print onto cotton tea towels and paper. All materials are provided, no experience necessary. Enjoy creating in community and share snacks, beverages, and good company on a summer evening in a beautiful environment.

About the Instructor
After getting her BFA with a concentration in printmaking in 2015, Madi moved back to the 805 and has kept printmaking at the forefront of her art practice ever since, working in block printing, letterpress, and screen printing. Since 2020, Madi has being designing and screen printing all the products for her brand Loud Flower Art Co in her studio and storefront at 506 E. Haley Street in Santa Barbara. Loud Flower makes heartfelt screen printed t-shirts to help people feel their feelings and build community around mental health accessibility.
