As we continue to digest the latest dose of vile disregard for black bodies and souls through the killings of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, KY, Ahmaud Aubry in coastal Georgia and George Floyd in Minneapolis, we invite you to join us on Saturday, June 6th at 11 am pacific/2 pm eastern on LinkedIn Live (all you have to do is create a profile).
If you have specific questions or topics that you would like discussed, please email those to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Just because we have been on “Stay-at-home” orders doesn’t mean that the Coffee with a Black Guy conversations stop. In fact, quite the opposite; we have used the opportunity to pivot and bring the conversations to you — temporarily.
Over the past several weeks we have held conversations on Instagram Live and joined conversations on other platforms. Topics have ranged from how to find peace during the time of disruption, to the racial history of the Kentucky Derby and a family connection to horse racing and breeding, to a discussion with Dr. Milo Dodson about Our mental health during the Covid_19 era. You can visit our YouTube Channel for some of those conversations if you missed them. While you’re there, you might as well subscribe so you can be notified of future videos.
