Teens ages 13 and up interested in digital music composition and mixing beats are invited every Tuesday through August 8 to join SBPL and the Teen Arts Mentorship Program for this summer series. Working in small groups, teens will produce a portfolio of their own work. Expect to work on specific music-making skills and be introduced to the musical styles and career choices of artists in our community. This course is led by local musician, producer, and sound engineer, Talitha Gabrielle. With her bachelors in music, she will teach the fundamentals of music production, competency in Garageband, how to create music compositions and beats, basic mixing tips, and how to sell beats.

The Teen Arts Mentorship Program is a free County-wide, 30-year-old arts enrichment and career development program that offers students ages 13-18 the unique opportunity to work closely with industry professionals and master artists in a studio environment.
