Come out for an author talk to Bart’s Books in Ojai on Saturday, June 4th at 11AM with Lanny Kaufer.
Kaufer has been leading Herb Walks – interpretive native plant walks and nature hikes- in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles since 1976. His new book, Medicinal Herbs of California published by Falcon Guides, introduces the principles of herbal remedies and guides readers through finding, harvesting, cultivating, and incorporating more than 70 locally abundant medicinal plants into daily life.
Lanny will share some of the backstory behind the writing of the book and give a reading.
Copies will be available for purchase. No reservations required.
This event will be held outdoors in our open air courtyard.
