Free one-hour docent-guided tours are offered Monday-Friday at 10:30am and 2:00pm. Saturday, Sunday and every holiday except Christmas docent tours are offered at 2:00pm. No reservation is required. Tours begin in the Mural Room on the second floor where a trained docent will meet you to guide you through the building and gardens highlighting the history of this National & State Historic Landmark with a focus on the artisans, architects and community leaders who brought it into being.
In addition to regular tours, special group tours and guided group visits to the Bisno Schall Clock Gallery are also available by reservation. For special tours email tours@sbcourthouse.org and for the Clock Gallery email clock@sbcourthouse.org.
Self-guided and virtual tours are always available on the Docent Council website, and visitors can find QR code signs to link to tours at entrances, the lobby information booth, the Mural Room, and street side at Anacapa Street.
