Join local herbalist Sarah Karinja from Nomad Herbals for an intro to the lymphatic system, body brushing, and helpful herbs to be incorporated into a daily ritual, including herbal infusion.
Sarah will introduce you to the workings and importance of the lymph system, demonstrate body brushing, making an overnight tea infusion, and talk about the herbs that are helpful to the lymphatic system.
Sarah has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Western Herbalism. She is the owner and founder of Nomad Herbals, a medicinal and ritualistic herbal company based in beautiful Ojai Valley. She is the co-creator of the monthly workshop series, “Celestial Beauty”. She is currently learning about growing her own medicine through volunteering at a local medicinal herb garden/school with an American Herbalist Guild Clinical Herbalist, plus working in her own herb garden at home.
This is a FREE ONLINE EVENT put on by the California Chapter of Herbal Medics, an organization that provides free holistic education and community wellness services, especially in times of disaster. Donations to the CA Herbal Medics goes towards buying herbs & supplies to make formulas for the public that they provide through the Digital Community Clinic.
