The Santa Barbara Jazz Society Summer Jazz Jam

 It’s that time of year again so get ready for our annual Summer Jazz Jam!

Since it is a Jam Session, this is the time for all you closet vocalists and musicians…and you know who you are… to strut your stuff. At our last Jam, we had some great music and lots of fun with participation from members and guests alike with some surprisingly talented folks taking the stage. Just be sure to bring your instruments and singers bring your charts. We will again have a fine house band to back you up: Debbie Denke on piano, Jon Crosse playing saxophones and trumpet, Kim Collins on bass, and drummer James Antunez.

You can renew your SBJS membership at the door for 2019 the day of the concert or online on our website. Admission to the event is $15 for members, $25 for non-members, $5 for full-time students, and $7 for local jazz musicians with membership. There is no charge for professional jazz musicians and vocalists participating in today’s event. Tickets are available ONLY at the door and doors open at 12:30pm. Seating is limited and members are admitted first, so plan to arrive early.
