Transformational Tales: Stories De Mi Pueblo

When you think about your town, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s your family, your neighbors, your favorite local spots, or the parks and places that make it feel like home. Whatever it is, we want to hear your story! Come celebrate with the Starfish Connection on Thursday, May 15th at 6:30 PM at Del Pueblo Cafe. Bring a story from your hometown or current home and share a piece of what makes your community special! This is a free event and open to all ages.

Transformational Tales is a series of live storytelling nights that provide a space for individuals to share their lived histories and experiences with the community.

By creating an in-person gathering space, this event provides an opportunity for our guests to create new connections over shared feelings & experiences which helps to combat the epidemic of loneliness (American Medical Association classified loneliness as a public health issue).

By coming together to share real human experiences/struggles, Transformational Tales also can provide a sense of reassurance and relief for listeners and storytellers alike. When our storytellers are vulnerable about their hardships, they are sharing their stories of resilience and inspiring hope within our community.
