The simple and thoughtful Water Conservation Lifestyle by students from Cate School won first place in this year’s Water Wise High School Video Contest, as well as the People’s Choice Award. Diarra Pouye and Kyril van Schende, both juniors at the private school in the Carpinteria foothills when they made their animated video, won a $500 prize for their school, donated by Allen Associates, and a $500 gift card from All-Around Landscape Supply. All video competitors can be viewed at the Water Wise contest YouTube page.
