The Funk Zone was alive with action on Friday night’s Funk Zone Block Party — the first of its type since the pre-pandemic years, but hopefully not the last. It was so much fun to see old friends and meet some of the newer creative folks in their studios, galleries, and stores on the block surrounded by East Yanonali Street, Santa Barbara Street, Mason Avenue, and Gray Avenue.
Here’s a peek, through the lens of Ingrid Bostrom, at a few of the artist studios, merchants, and galleries that were open to the public on December 1.
