Then in comes Detlev Peikert, architect of the Garden Court low-income senior housing facility and president of the Garden Court Endowment Board, to discuss the challenges of addressing the needs of Santa Barbara’s low-income senior population and his organization’s ambitious plans to build a new assisted-living facility in town.
