Memorial for Slain Bicyclist Scheduled for Sunday

Services to Include Dropping Flowers at Crash Site


An informal memorial ride for the bicyclist killed by a truck at Hollister and Kellogg Avenues last week will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. The group of bicyclists will gather in the parking lot of St. Raphael’s church, 5444 Hollister Ave, and ride to the crash site to leave flowers. The ride will continue to Goleta City Hall for a brief rally. For more information, call Eva Inbar at (805) 964-0472.

Authorities have still not released the deceased’s name.
