arent/Child Bilingual Story Time Circles Foster Early Childhood Language Learning for Santa Barbara’s Kids

Parlez-vous français?” Or, “¿Hablas español?” Thanks to weekly Bilingual Conversation and Storytime Circles in French and Spanish at Peanuts Kids & Maternity Boutique (9 E. Figueroa St.), Santa Barbara’s children can learn to answer “Oui” and “Si” with ease at a very young age. Child/parent duos bring a foreign-language kids’ book to a circle and take turns reading aloud to the group with other families, to the best of each child’s ability. More language development is fostered by additional group participation activities, including art projects, puppets, games, and more.

• French Conversation and Storytime Circle: Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Spanish Conversation and Storytime Circle: Fridays, 11 a.m.-noon

Both groups are free and will meet throughout the summer. RSVPs are requested. Call 618-1640 or visit peanutvine.com for more info.
