Joshua Tree has long emitted a strong gravitational pull to musicians of the psychedelically-inclined variety, beckoning visionaries and poets of song with its bounteous beauty and ineffable mysticism. Desert Daze, a three day festival held at the Institute of Mentalphysics, encapsulated this spirit with a weekend of raucous art rock legends, up-and-coming mind-melters, and entrancingly vibrational drone artists.
