What's this? Gelb, Todd Kaufman, et al crying poor "limited resources" to do anything! BS!

Multi millionaires with no funds without the cajones to assume any responsibility. Cry me a river, you poor slumlords!

Step up & lead by example. Would your mothers be proud of your business actions & community responsibility? Hmmmm

From the sound of it, Mingee is/was the cancer in the department. I hope the three firefighters who lost their positions are well compensated after attorney fees and Mingee leaves with his arrogant tail tucked.

Yes, it's going to cost the people of Carp, a boatload, but perhaps this costly lesson will be a wake up call for oversight on the part of people & boards who often sleep at the switch & believe everything they hear from the top dog.

"...the 1500 plus condo/apartment units going in, and all the other CRAP being built should be halted with a big fat lawsuit."

Congrats, Brandon!

We read all too often these days about all the negatives with our schools, so this is awesome news. Thanks for giving it your all to the students & community inside & out of the classroom.

Siblings7 - Being a "good guy" and "active in community groups" is far different than working under John Karbula.

Yes, he may smile & tell the parents what they want to hear, but when you dig deeply, examine the moral of the entire Solvang School District since his arrival, and where the school could be educationally, you will discover a far different image and majority opinion.

Did this still justify the closing to the 101 for six hours?

I'd say NO!

WTF is going on with so many teachers nowadays that they feel the need to engage in sexual activities with their students?

Seriously, it also seems like many times it's female teachers hitting on their boy students in junior & high school.

What's the deal?

I honestly wonder what the net result for the entire shut down of the #1 main freeway in California for over six hours will be when this is fully reviewed.

Honestly, they better find a cache of weapons and an ISIS-like commando squad that was ready to terrorize the 101.

I feel at the outset Bill Brown & his crew way overreacted to a situation that could have been handled without shutting down the 101 for so long. Really!

I sure hope this is investigated by the proper agency.
