If you have a valid fishing license you better know the rules!
The same goes for driving legally in CA.
Ignorance is never an excuse.

I'd love to see full blood panels on all these HUGE dudes, including dou4now. I'll bet a year's wages these guys have a nasty number lurking somewhere e.g. cholesterol, triglycerides, high PSA, something!
There's no way on this green Earth a person can be morbidly obese & be deemed "healthy." Sure, they may finish a swim, a run or "crossing the line," in a 5K, but can live past the age of 45 or 50? Can they keep up with their kids or grandkids? Can they ride a bike 25 miles? Climb stairs without passing out?
You know the answer to all these!

Five "birds" is ridiculous for a county this size.
Rescues in the channel? What about the U.S. Coast Guard?
Bill Brown has pretty much gotten everything he wanted, including circumventing the voters to get the north county jail upgrade.
Show him the door along with his little buddy, Cam.

CFF is THE model for the rest of the nation when it comes to recycling computers & giving back to America's up & coming citizens - our young, impressionable students.
These deserving & underserved recipients, due to "the digital divide," now have the playing field leveled so they may achieve like their more fortunate peers.
Computers for Families has set the bar very high for the rest of the country. Bravo, CFF!

My thoughts exactly, fredb93117!
I was under the impression that 16 year olds could only have a licensed driver over 18 with them an no others under that age. Here's the exact copy/paster from the DMV site:
Passenger -For the first 6 months after obtaining a driver license, may only drive with: Parents or legal guardian at least one of whom holds a valid driver license Licensed driving instructor or Person providing instruction who is at least 20 years old, has held a license for at least 4 years with no suspensions during the last 4 years
For the second 6 months, may drive with the above people or may also drive with immediate family (e.g., brothers, and sisters).
Curfew - Until 18th birthday, may not drive between hours of 11PM – 5AM unless it is for: employmentschool - see detailed info regarding prom season.religious activitiesmedical necessity*See exemptions below
Seatbelts - Until 18th birthday, all passengers in vehicle must use permanently installed seat belts.
Cell phones, etc. - Until 18th birthday, may not use cell phones (even if hands-free) or other mobile electronic devices while driving. This includes any hand-held computers or other device with a video display.

Ryansbca I can't agree with you more! Those sales people, all working on commission, with their overpriced, Chinese made merchandise at the kiosks, are way too pushy.
They will not take a head shaking, "No," a polite, "No." or any other means that I'm not at all interested in their pitch. They all need to go!
If I want ticky tack items I can go to K Mart or buy online for far less including free shipping.
Give 'em all the boot!

She better NOT get a "sweetheart" sentence!
If there was ever a case to make somebody an example, this is it.
If she walks or gets a slap on the wrists, this county will be forever branded a place where you can steal & get away with anything you like.

Why don't the courts put ALL street gang punks convicted of ANY crime into a huge area out in the CA desert, behind a high electrified/concertina wire fence with high tech guard towers.
That way all the brawlers can go to it seeing who's the baddest a** in the yard. They can all sit there for 30 years to life & ponder where they wen't wrong.
Possibly their parents, unless they're inside with them, can ponder the same.

What a total crock here! The wealthy, self-entoitled folks of MoneyVille West aka Montecito, have attempted to keep 101 small & quaint so their little tony, village would remain just that - quaint. Look what everybody now has to thank them! Massive congestion every darn day right out front of their little burg.
Well, they get what they pay for! SMOG and massive amounts of vehicle emissions that choke their precious ocean kissed once fresh air.
Now they are attempting to continue the stranglehold on the 101 by continuing the old "Money Talks" adage and hire every "expert" that needs some extra cash to say what they want to hear.
I say E N O U G H! get on with this Cal Trans.
Who's more important - the millions of people that have to use the 101 to transit back & forth OR the wealthy, self-entitled monied peeps who hide behind their, and don't have to leave home except to golf, do lunch & head to the airport to hop into their private jets to wing off to posh hideaways?
