If it turns into a hotel with some add on bungalows, like El Encanto, not only does SB get property tax, but bed tax and sales tax.

BTW, State street is really on a downward slide, with more vacant storefronts and increasing number of bums, losers, and vagrants.
My wife and step daughter refuse to shop and dine on State, and a few relatives have mentioned their lack of enthusiasm on the idea of visiting Sb in general.

Maybe the businesses taking part in the fun filled Fiesta should have a temporary restriction on serving alcohol after 11 pm.

Wouldn't it be easier to tag and number the gangmembers ears like wild animals caught in neighborhoods?
There is a gang injuction in Canoga Park, SF Valley against a multi-generational gang into auto thefts. Sorry to shock you, but it works if used as a tool. If caught, they face tougher sentencing which discourages them and their younger siblings.

Hmmm
So if a 60 year old living in a van enrolls at the college, gets a decal proving he's a student, then never attends a class, he gets free parking???
