For those who were wondering what ever happened to PJ Milligan and Co. the woodworking company announced on 5/16 that it is ready to reopen this week at 436 East Gutierrez Street, in the Laguna Industrial Park. The new location, provided by landlord SIMA Corporation, will allow the company to combine is showroom and workshop in a single location. The storefront was previously located on State Street. The owner– PJ Milligan–added that the company is transitioning more and more from pine furniture to “more contemporary work in alder, cherry, and walnut.” Milligan’s outfit produces custom millwork including kitchen cabinetry.
