The Music Academy of the West is currently accepting applications for its annual MERIT Program, which will run from July 7 through July 20. Since 1998, the program has provided musicians ages 12 to 18 a concentrated immersion in the Academy’s Summer School, as well as mentoring from top scholars. Applications are due Saturday, March 15, and are available online at musicacademy.org or by calling 695-7911.
