Casey Lee Wadsworth, 45, was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on March 3 after being arrested for criminal threats and stalking charges. Sheriff’s deputies obtained an arrest warrant and had been searching for Wadsworth in the beginning of the week, but attempts to locate him were unsuccessful until Tuesday night.

Wadsworth threatened to use a gun against himself and others after an acquaintance tried to end their friendship. Wadsworth and the victim reportedly never had a dating relationship, but he reacted by incessantly calling her at her work and on her cell phone. During the calls, Wadsworth repeatedly made threats to the victim’s life, her coworkers’, and his own life. Wadsworth had been staying at various homeless shelters in downtown Santa Barbara before his arrest. His bail is set at $500,000.
