• Next Thursday, July 23, the Creative Women group and Think Tank Art Collective will host Montage of Mermaids, a benefit event featuring art, photography, and area talent showcases at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort (633 W. Cabrillo Blvd.). Proceeds from Mermaids will help raise funds for Girls Inc of S.B., an area nonprofit that aims to empower young women through educational and enrichment programs.
