Celebrate all things feline during Kittypalooza, a weekend-long celebration hosted by Animal Shelter Assistance Program (ASAP), an S.B. nonprofit that cares for the homeless cats and kittens at the S.B. County Animal Shelter. The event boasts two days of fun cat-centered events for a great cause:
• Kittypalooza kicks off with an Adoption Fair on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m-4 p.m., during which ASAP will offer 50 percent off adoption fees for their cats and kittens. The ASAP shelter is located at 5473 Overpass Road.
• ‘Looza continues with a Rockin’ for the Kitties Concert, an afternoon of live music, games, and raffles at The Creekside (4444 Hollister Ave.), with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting ASAP. The musical lineup includes bands like Saint Anne’s Place, The Blue Suns, Dead Zed’s Chopper, We Govern We, Sound the Sky, and many more. Rockin’ runs from 1-9 p.m. on Sunday, December 11. Tickets are $10; all ages.
