Santa Barbara’s resident road warriors are at it again. This month, Tommy & The High Pilots find themselves back in the van for a string of shows in support of their soon-to-be-released LP, Only Human. Though the album doesn’t come out until May 28, fans and friends are already buzzing thanks to the band’s new lyric video (see below). For “Only Human,” frontman Tommy Cantillon’s sultry croon gets paired up with a brooding, funk-inspired guitar hook that’s already lodged itself into my brain. Check it out for yourself, then mark your calendars — this is gonna be one to keep your eye on.
