GOP and Women

The GOP has 16 candidates, only one a woman. All the candidates I hear speak do not represent we women; they seem intent on closing down Planned Parenthood. I used Planned Parenthood when I lived in New York City and could not afford a doctor; they prescribed birth control pills for me and performed my gynecology testing. Planned Parenthood is great for poor women. They do not push abortion; they may give it as an option, but more importantly, they offer contraceptive birth control options. As a woman too old to have children now, I feel the best form of birth control is education, and a women should have the choice of when she wants a family. Secondly, young people are sexually active. Telling them to stop does not work. Just look at Bristol Palin.
