Denunzio Files for Damages Against City

Tony Denunzio, who witnesses say was brutally struck and tasered by Santa Barbara Police Officer Aaron Tudor during a DUI stop last October, filed a governmental claim for damages with the City of Santa Barbara, the first step toward filing a lawsuit against the city.

Judge Allows Attempted Murder Trial to Move Forward

Attorneys for Robert Anthony Aldaz, Richard Soto, Ricardo Pineda, Juan Antonio Maldonado, and Juan Carlos Villa argued on 4/24 there was insufficient evidence shown at a preliminary hearing that anyone in the group had used premeditation or deliberation in connection with allegedly stabbing a man 21 times on the Eastside in April 2011.
