Ten years ago, the non-profit Santa Barbara Birth Center opened its doors with a tremendous amount of help from donors, foundations, and families who wanted to support more choices in childbirth.
Today we are thriving, busier than ever serving our community with complete birth services, preconception counseling and annual exams, childbirth preparation classes, and prenatal/postpartum support groups.
Hundreds of families have gotten their start with the safe and gentle care of our midwives, and thanks to your generous support, we have been able to give away over $100,000 in subsidy to help make our extraordinary care accessible to all who want it.
Let’s celebrate all the hard work and dedicated support that got us here, and the families who have made us what we are today.
