<i>The Moth</i>

What started as a group of friends getting together to swap stories in a New York living room has become a popular NPR show and a traveling program. Billed as “true stories told live” (without any script or notes), the non-profit group The Moth brings together storytellers from all walks of life to bare their souls to sold-out audiences across the country. One of those storytellers, award-winning filmmaker Ellie Lee, talks about her first Moth performance and shares why she was apprehensive about taking the stage.
