Fire Ball Cocktail Party

Fundraiser for S.B. Fire Departments

Considering our fire-prone area, it’s a good idea to keep our fire crews fully prepared. The S.B. Firefighters Alliance (SBFA) does just that by raising funds to purchase the latest equipment for area fire departments. Next Friday evening, the SBFA is hosting the “Fire Ball Cocktail Party,” with proceeds from the event going to buy new Jaws of Life, Bendix radios, water rescue night-vision goggles, and rescue mannequins. The party will include a fire demonstration by the City Fire Department, a special appearance by Riley the Rescue Dog (procured by SBFA last year), and a live auction emceed by Andrew Firestone, featuring firehouse dinners and firehouse children’s parties. The Fire Ball heats up on Friday, September 10, 6 p.m., at the Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club. For info and tickets, call 708-3565 or visit
