DAWGS FOR DOGS

The Dog Adoption & Welfare Group (DAWG) — our county’s only no-kill dog shelter — is hosting a benefit production of the off-Broadway hit DAWGS! The Musical, which takes a dog’s-eye view of life in a shelter. With songs written by the men behind Mary Poppins’s “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” the play’s a sure success. Tickets for the September 9-10 run at the Marjorie Luke Theatre range from $10-$50, so call 969-1527 now.
