Carbajal Campaign Enjoys Strong Finances

The only candidate to declare thus far in the race for 1st District Supervisor, incumbent Salud Carbajal, is off to a fast financial start, reporting $395,683 in contributions. He has $370,858 in cash on-hand. Carbajal, a former staff member for Naomi Schwartz, is seeking reelection to his second term. A large chunk of the money he raised came during a December fundraiser at supporter Nina Terzian’s home.
