Public Library to Host Blowout Book Sale

From now until Sunday (Aug. 20-23), the S.B. Public Library System will be celebrating Herman Melville’s 190th birthday with a Blowout Book Sale at the Central Library (40 E. Anapamu St.) to help raise funds for all the amazing programs and services it provides to the community. The stock of donated books and media will be offered at bargain prices: paperbacks, music CDs, VHS tapes, LPs, and magazines at 25•-50•; hard covers are $1. The library’s sale inventory will be restocked daily, in the Book Sale corner of the main Reading Room. Call 688-4815 for more info.
