Surf-Themed Art Exhibit Draws Wave-Riding Fans

Mother Nature’s majestic waves serve as inspiration for Blakeney Sanford’s new sculpture installations at Anderson Art Collective’s Rogue Wave exhibit-a new surf-themed art show benefiting the S.B. Surfrider Foundation. Filled with an eclectic variety of sea-inspired pieces by Sanford and other area artists, Rogue‘s sensational summery appeal will be a feast for the eyes of surfers, seafarers, and land dwellers alike. Rogue runs through August 2; the exhibit is located at 410 Palm Avenue, Carpinteria. Call 684-8783 for more info.
