SBCC Adult Ed Offers Up Cool Solutions to Global Warming


The more you know about the effects of the continually reducing ozone layer on our planet, the better able you are to help repair it. To that end-and in honor of United Nations Day-S.B. City College Adult Education is holding an informative event called Cool Solutions to Global Warming. Featured speakers include Lauren Selman, producer, environmental consultant, and founder of Reel Green Media; Alec Loorz, founder of Kids vs. Global Warming; Paul Lynch, founder and CEO of Cage Free Enterprise; and keynote speaker Anne Kelly, who has worked with Al Gore since 2007 on his Climate Change Project team. It takes place Saturday, November 7, from 8:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. at SBCC’s Fe Bland Auditorium (721 Cliff Dr.). For more info, call 961-3916 or visit unasb.org. Admission is free.
